As an avid BMW owner and recent E46 Fanatics Forum member, I became quite interested in an LED DIY that detailed converting the elegant, but sorely performance lacking, OEM glove box flashlight. Not being the Michelangelo of the soldering iron, I quickly realized that this was beyond my skill set (which is more comfortable around wrenches and mechanical mods). I approached an electronics friend who indeed is a Michelangelo with soldering equipment and asked him to take a look at my OEM flashlight with the intent of giving it an LED performance makeover. Das Licht is the product of this design and innovation to incorporate a modern Cree LED, lithium battery and charging circuit technology into the confines of the OEM case and charging pins.
The Das Licht conversion incorporates 360mah lithium polymer battery technology and no less than a 300 lumen Cree LED output.
The conversion utilizes BMW Part Numbers 63318377861, 63318377862, or 63316962052 and they fit these BMW models:

The conversion is offered for $49 USD which includes a $10 core charge and FREE US Shipping with Delivery Confirmation. Outside USA shipping units are offered at $59 USD with FREE International Shipping. When we receive your core we will credit your PayPal payment back the $10 deposit.
